I wanted to take a moment to update you on my weekend at the opening round of the European Quad Championship held in Kramolín, Czech Republic.

It was an incredibly positive and productive start to the European campaign, and I’m pleased to share the highlights with you.

Friday was a smooth and steady day following the journey to the track. I took the opportunity to walk the circuit and re-familiarise myself with the layout from last year, focusing on potential lines and overtaking spots. I then took the bike through technical inspection, which it passed without any issues, leaving us well-prepared and confident going into Saturday’s qualifying sessions.

Saturday greeted us with beautiful blue skies and warm conditions—a welcome change from last year’s storm-affected event. I began the day with Free Practice, where I focused on testing new lines and evaluating passing opportunities on this notoriously difficult track. I was happy to clock a strong lap, placing 3rd overall in the session.

Later in the day, we moved into qualifying, where I made the strategic choice to set a fast lap early while the track was quiet. This paid off with a solid 4th place, just 0.700 seconds off 3rd, which positioned me well for the qualifying race.

In the Qualifying Race, I lined up 4th on the gate and managed a fantastic start, grabbing the holeshot. I then settled into a smart and consistent rhythm, eventually being passed but using the opportunity to study the leading rider’s lines. I maintained a strong pace throughout and brought the bike home safely, setting the tone for Sunday’s main races.

Sunday started with more good weather and a productive warm-up session, where we checked track conditions and made a few final tweaks to the bike setup. I was feeling confident and ready for the day ahead.

For Moto 1, I started 2nd on the gate thanks to Saturday’s results. I got out well but was squeezed into 4th place. By turn five, I had worked my way up  into 2nd place and began chasing the leader. A few backmarkers slowed the pace, so I made the tactical decision to protect the bike and secure a strong 2nd-place finish, just +7.900 seconds behind 1st.

Heading into the final race of the weekend, I was eager to end on a high. After a good start in Moto 2, I avoided a potential incident by taking a cautious line and slotted into 5th into the first corner. By the end of the first lap, I had recovered to 2nd place, where I remained for the rest of the race, finishing just +6.200 seconds behind the leader.

This performance earned me 2nd Overall for the weekend, a result I’m very pleased with—especially on such a demanding track. Most importantly, both the bike and I came through unscathed, and we gained valuable points in the championship standings.

Now, we quickly turn our attention to the third round of the official ACU British Championship at Culham this coming weekend, and I’m feeling confident with the momentum we’ve built.and its close to home which is always nice

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for your ongoing support. These results—and the ability to compete at this level—would not be possible without the backing and continued support . Your contribution truly makes a difference, and I’m proud to represent you on both  and off the track.

Best regards,

Harry Walker #7 /#1
