Date: March 20, 2021

Canadian Kawasaki Motors, Liqui Moly lubricants and DP Brakes will sponsor classes during the inaugural season of Pro 6 GP Regional motorcycle roadrace action at Calabogie Motorsports Park, ON. The new for 2021 Pro 6 GP program will offer four events, as well as a dedicated season opening TRAC School, at the popular Calabogie circuit south west of Ottawa, ON.

The famed Calabogie venue offers a 5.05-kilometer-long lap, with twenty turns winding up and down through a forested setting and features a quality paddock and service set-up for racers and participants.

“Everyone involved with Pro 6 GP is really energized with the program that we have assembled,” explains Pro 6 Cycle shop founder Sandy Noce, a Pro level racer.  “We really appreciate the support of our sponsors, and our dedicated Calabogie team are aiming to provide solid value for competitors, fans and supporters.”

Canadian Kawasaki Motors will be the title sponsor for middleweight division, titled Pro Sport Bike presented by Kawasaki.  A $ 1,500 purse will be offered in each race for the newly sponsored category.

Although the CSBK National Championship Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike class didn’t crown a middleweight Champ last season due to the COVID-19, Sebastien Tremblay of Laval, Quebec was the rider to beat.  Aboard the Turcotte Performance Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, Tremblay won all the CSBK middleweight races last year and will be a solid favorite for Pro 6 GP race series Pro Sport Bike presented by Kawasaki events.

The developing lightweight production classes are a focus of attention for modern roadracing, and for 2021 Liqui Moly will sponsor both the Pro and Amateur divisions within the Pro 6 GP Championship.  Liqui Moly Pro Lightweight Sport Bike and Liqui Moly Amateur Sport Bike will offer all levels of riders a chance to compete in this featured “development” category launched in 2018.

The debut of the Pro 6 GP race series at Calabogie will mark the first time that a Pro division will be available for the Lightweight category, and there is considerable interest to see who will compete and what machinery they might choose.

Liqui Moly offer around 4,000 products, with a range of chemicals that is unique worldwide in terms of width and depth.  Founded in 1957, Liqui Moly develop and produce oils and additives exclusively in Germany.

Famed brake pad supplier DP Brakes will provide naming rights for the DP Brakes Amateur Sport Bike division, featuring middleweight production-based machinery.  The DP Brakes Amateur Sport Bike class provides some of the most diverse fields in current competition, with a wide range of manufacturers providing competitive machinery.

Both as replacement and performance upgrades for original equipment sintered metal brake pads, DP Brakes complete product line offers fitments for every riding application, including racing, sport, touring and cruising.
